a good idea!

At last, a way to make mornings easier...

We found this really cool organizer for K.'s closet. The organizer attaches to the closet rod with a strong Velcro strap. Each cubby is labeled with a day of the week. We do laundry, then K. picks out her outfits in advance (top, bottom, socks, undies). She then neatly folds one entire outfit into a cubbie for each day. When she gets up each morning for school, her clothes are ready to go!

We have tried getting outfits ready the night before; this works much better as we only have to pick outfits once a week, and she likes being organized. It also helps her remember the day of the week and how many days until the weekend.

I don't want to turn her into a little conformist robot, but dang, if I had known this was so much fun for her, I would have picked it up a long time ago!
