Gainfully employed...yet homeless...

OK, we aren't homeless...but the house did not work out. The roof and electric did not pass inspection, and the seller would not compromise on the roof. So now we are back to house hunting.

I'm starting a new job on August 1st. The company is a leading LIS (laboratory information systems) vendor, supplying systems for hospitals, laboratories, blood banks, and other medical facilities. I will serve as an account executive and it will be my responsibility to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to production. Ooh, an IT department with real implementations!

Kyla's first day of school will be August 15. I'm going to miss having the time off with her, but I'm VERY READY to get back to work.

Tomorrow is my last Friday off before I start work; Mark and I will be driving around with the realtor. Wish us luck!
