Taking it to another level...
This blog has suffered so much due to our busyness, so I'll write a quick update:
- School is out and Miss K is very excited about it. She is growing so fast; we bought her a new bicycle, and it's a 26" - womens bike! Wow!
- I've decided to yield to my inner geek by commuting by bicycle to work at least 3 times a week. By using Google Pedometer I found a route that keeps me off the main roads for a good part of the ride. K and I did the route today (she wanted to try out that new bike!) and it was very manageable. There's a shower at work, and I picked up a set of panniers for my bike. I'll bring in my lunch and a change of close...and ta-da! It will be a great way to keep those pounds away for good. I have to say though that maintaining has been EASY on Core.
- And speaking of WW, Mark switched to Core and is beginning to lose again. He's working hard and I am very proud of him.
- Hubby is taking guitar lessons - very relaxing, and he is making pretty good progress. I guess the Christmas gift was a winner!
- K and I will be flying back to Kansas for a couple of days in June. We'll be visiting her birth siblings, as well as some of her extended family. It will be nice to see some of the folks at Good Shepherd again as well. In July K will take off for a week of summer camp.
