It's been a short week...

...after Memorial Day, but it's been a good one.

• I LOVE riding my bicycle to work. I keep shower supplies and a towel at work and it's just fine. It's great to start the day with exercise, and I like the feeling of satisfaction I get in getting to work on my own power. The only hitch I foresee is the weather - we are entering the rainy season, and Hubby may have to pick me up on the way home every so often to avoid the afternoon torrent. I don't mind riding in the rain, but I don't trust the cars.
  
• DD's soccer tryout was rained out yesterday due to Tropical Storm/Depression Barry. We REALLY needed the rain and everyone was glad for it, but we had to go Sunday morning. She will need to go back again this week, and then we'll see if she makes the club team.
