We are officially Slaves to the Piggies...

...and we've built a roomy new home for them using the C & C (Cubes & Coroplast) method outlined at CavyCages. If you are interested, another great (and related) site is Cavy Spirit, which gives many interesting and useful links regarding the care of these happy little creatures.

Snickers and Oreo have plenty of room; one sleeps upstairs and the other downstairs. Their cage is 56" long x 28" wide...lots of room for running laps and popcorning. Now when I look at the little cage where Charlie lived, I feel guilty for giving him such a small home.

We also have a folding playpen for them, which allows them to roam all over the terrazzo floor in the living room, and terrazzo cleans up nicely.
